Tonight was the first game for the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry as he’s officially ruled out for three months due to a left wrist fracture.

A struggling Warriors led by Draymond Green fell to the red hot San Antonio Spurs and it looks like they are going to tank this season for a higher draft pick.

Although D’Angelo Russell did everything he could to win the game by scoring 30 points and dishing out eight assists, the supporting cast of the Dubs looked like generic 2k created players with 55 overall stats.

The team has also announced that Green is on minute’s restriction due to lower back strain that occurred during the Phoenix Suns game on Halloween night.

Who would have thought after making it to five straight finals, the Warriors would not even qualify for the playoffs. In that, they have quite the fate of the Los Angeles Lakers Point Guard LeBron James, who missed the playoffs after eight straight trips to the league finals.

After the reports of Curry being sidelined due to a broken hand, DLo’s name started to flow in the trade rumours with many Eastern Conference teams willing to give up picks and young players for him.

However, the official statement by the owner is that they will look to develop Russell and utilize him more in the offense due to the other two stars being injured and out for a long time. It is a great strategy by the management as it will increase the trade value of Russell if he performs like an All-Star in the days to come.
