The Golden State Warriors finally got their first win of the season against the struggling New Orleans Pelicans (134-123) after losing the first two games by combined 47 points and did not lead even for a second to start the season.
It was a relief for the Warriors fans to see the BIG-3 perform in tonight’s win, Stephen Curry had 26 points and 11 assists in just 31 minutes along with Draymond Green, who recording a triple double and D’Angelo Russell contributing 24 points.
Even though the Curry and Co. won, they did not get stops on the defensive as the Pelicans scored 123 points. It is evident that in order for the Warriors to win they have to outscore their opponents as they lack defensive prowess.
After watching GSW play in three games it’s obvious that the 'Golden Era' of the Warriors has come to an end and from now on they have to play almost perfect basketball in order to reach the Western Conference Finals.

On the other hand, Pelicans just lost their fourth straight game to start the season and the only positive is a man named Brandon Ingram who is averaging 27.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Lonzo Ball continues to disappoint as he averages a below-par 13 points and 6 assists per game with 38 percent shooting.
